Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee and flea have the same brain - pass it on.

Jumping to the end to announce Mister Kitty is home. With his sugars under control and a round of antibiotics.

I am so glad I moved him back to Mt. Washington. The Pet ER was bound and determined to figure out what caused this, whereas me & my vet's attitude toward Mister Kitty is to just get him stabilized and since he did have small signs of infection, antibiotics. Trying to find out what was infected is kinda over the top.

He meowed and purred for me. Which he hadn't done since Sunday morning. He's asleep on the couch with me.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

What's a girl who basically wants an excuse to eat scones and drink tea and look at funny hats at 5am on Friday to do? Will CNN.com or BBC.com or someone have live streaming coverage?

It's being streamed live on YouTube.

It was just going to be me and my BFF who I lived in England with. But, it's grown to 5 or 6 people at my house at 5:30AM. In typical me fashion, I've gone overboard, I think.

I've made two kinds of scones -- plain that will be served with whipped cream, lemon curd, marmelade and nutella. And cherry ginger scones (which I know are not legit. What they are is tasty). They've been frozen raw and will be baked off that morning.

I'm also serving smoked salmon sandwiches and mini bacon buttys for a savory element.

After we're done watching (and judging), I'll do a fry up -- the works with sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, and eggs. I'm ordering bangers special from a local butcher, but I don't think that anyone really wants black pudding. I can't find proper english bacon (at least not anywhere where it doesn't cost more to ship than for the meat itself)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That sounds delicious, Vortex.

I am glad you moved him too, sara. At a certain point, the whys aren't so important. You treat and move on. I am so glad he seems to be reacting well. And purring.

Because books.

Good god, I would totally get up for that, Vortex.

I'm so glad for you and MK, sara.
