Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Public transit is annoying. I'm going to be significantly early for my call time this morning, but it was either that or be late, which I hate. At least I'm up and at em and ready to go?

In related news, Happy Easter for those to whom that is relevant.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ita, I hope they're nice strangers and you get some relief.

The kids are eating chocolate for breakfast.

I need to pack since we're flying to Florida this evening.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope the ER experience was pretty okay, ita. And travel is smooth and easy, Cashmere. And all those shows do not become Too Much, aurelia.

I tried making a Strawberry Icebox Cake (I think I got the recipe here, because where else do I go?) with matzo and it came out pretty good. Probably even better with graham crackers, but still.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Another quiet Sunday for us...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm off today! Actually, I wouldn't have minded working, since it's time-and-a-half and Easter is pretty much just another Sunday with candy for me, but on the other hand, a day off is nice....

Time to get stuff Done around the house, especially since it's in the 60s and the Sun has appeared....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm watching the TV Land Awards. It's fun. I should clean my apartment, cook some stuff, and prep math things for next week. My sinuses hurt.

I'm off to a docent-led walk through Jepson Prairie in a little bit. Vernal pools! Wildflowers! Should be fun.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sounds awesome, -t!

Right? The only downside is I have to get out from under this cat and get dressed to go.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Easter to all who celebrate it.

The prairie walk sounds fun, -t.

ita, I hope the ER helped.

Today's a pretty laid-back day for me. It's warm and sunny outside, so eventually I'll probably go for a short walk. (Short because I wore my tevas for the first time this spring yesterday, and walked up some shiny new blisters. Still, it was a nice afternoon with several NC-istas and Tom Scola, so it was totally worth a couple of sore toes.) A friend invited me to her family's Easter dinner tonight, and that should be nice.
