Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

a pointer to the stuff that's more interesting for women would be something I could get behind

Do you think that the stuff usually featured on fleshbot is uninteresting to women and that the porn in these features is more interesting? I honestly can't tell the difference.

I get that the porn that the internet's made for is not me, but fleshbot...well, I'm not going to say that they're special or anything. Just that they're already vetting porn.

I also guess I don't know what chick porn is. I mean, what is "good" porn, but porn that women don't like?

serial:

"Why are you so unfriendly?"

Honestly, I'm continually surprised by how much a subculture can reinforce itself and change people's perceptions of normalcy. Seriously. Just because you (and others) are thinking it's hot doesn't mean it's au fait for everyone else. Even everyone else in the room.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I don't know. I haven't done that much analysis of what they have there.

I mean, what is "good" porn, but porn that women don't like?

I couldn't describe it, but I bet I could know it when I see it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Kinky peeps (or, perhaps, the kinky peeps who go to parties) tend to be more on the side of "Woo, free love, touchy-feely is AWESOME!!!!" So when someone is *not,* it really stands out. I certainly don't think I'm *wrong,* but it's just odd to be so out of step with everyone else.

That makes sense to me, though -- if the kink is your sex life, and the parties are about the kink..... The free love piece is separate to me than the public part. In my head.

brillig

The porn I like is stuff where the people involved are paying attention to each other, not making eyes at the camera. Also, they should be at least appearing to enjoy the event, not apparently working off some check list or someone to the side saying "OK, switch places. You, on the bottom, roll over."

On the whole, I prefer gay (ie, man on man) porn, because I find men prettier to look at. I am such a Kinsey 0.

Oh, and I like the men to be in the late-20s as a general minimum. Twinks are generally dull.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I ran into our old neighbors on the street. Maria and Mo own the house next door, but they both work in biotech and had an opportunity to go to Switzerland about four years ago. When EM originally moved out, she moved into their basement apartment, so Emmett grew up with their then-puppy Maklo.

Maklo grew up to be the biggest, most handsome German Shepherd ever and Emmett loved him with all his heart. And Emmett was very sad when they moved to Switzerland and took Maklo away.

But he's much much sadder now because he found out that Maklo died last year. In fact, I think he's got a broken heart. He's face down on his bed and sobbing. What can you do except grieve?

But he's never really lost anything he loved before.
