I have nothing to contribute on the "Rich People" thread. Rich people I have known have been bosses and casual acquaintances rather than friends. For what it is worth they have spanned a broad range of human behavior ranging from "psychotic asshole" to "really nice person".
That reminds me, I am so with flea on how I would not work out if I had tons of money. I would hire someone to work out for me.

I have been following that story from afar. I'm sorry the abduction happened so close to you. Does it sound like it was an acquaintance of her half-sister? That household just wasn't right for a 17-year-old.

My gym is begging me to come back. They're waiving initiation fee and two month's membership. I want to cry.
Oh, yeah, I also dated a rich boy. He was all "blah blah and my father's yacht" and I was all ??? He failed to sweep me off to Europe or anything, and it was long distance, so it wasn't like I was getting taken out to big dinners. It was kinda an underwhelming experience, really. Also, he was misogynist. But misogynist in a weird way, like, he liked getting called on it. Yeah, I dunno.
If I were that rich, I suspect there would be a way to live forever, like getting your head implanted on a robot body.
I imagine some fannish buffistas enjoyed the tribute to fanvids on Community tonight.

There really is. And I? Am almost always too impatient to sit still to be tied like that. It doesn't take an inordinately long amount of time, but I have the patience of an over-caffeinated meth-head. I always think, "Can't we achieve the same goal in 30 seconds with some damn cuffs?"
