"When Bush got elected I cried because I was afraid he'd ruin the nation's water supply. So...kind of a failure of imagination there."
Yeah, that was a funny and very sad statement....

Jess beat me to posting babies eating lemons.

Those are some excellent WTF double-takes. Those babies look so betrayed.
In a similar vein to the tiny crossbow: Trebuchets for schools
Babies eating lemons is comedy gold. I love babies eating lemons again, and being traumatised again. It's a synopsis of the human condition.
I think my skirt is too short.
Ah, well.
I once sent a clip of a baby laughing to a friend and he went postal and told me he'd never talk to me again if I sent him anything else with babies in it because he hated them. It was kinda...kinda scary. I get not loving them, but hating them seems a lot of work.
We're out of ice. I'm sad.
What would you rather be doing right now than what you're doing right now? I'd initially thought the answer was "drawing" but it turns out to be "not having a headache" on not much further introspection.
I just sent that to my friend who sent me the mini-crossbows link with the comment that we should start a mini-army.
What would you rather be doing right now than what you're doing right now?
A NAP PLEASE GOD. (Thanks to the wrath-of-god storms last night that turned out to be not so wrath-y, I got about 4 hours' sleep. I almost feel drunk from sleep dep right now.)
Not having a headache is my answer too, but I'm pretty sure the headache level isn't.
Sleeping is also pretty high up there.
What would you rather be doing right now than what you're doing right now?
Well, eating pie with Dean Winchester's on the list. Sitting on a balcony restaurant in Santorini, sipping wine and watching the sea is also there.
But, honestly, what I'm doing now (sitting on my sofa and doing my job while House reruns play in the background) is pretty good.
I'm pretty sure that, when it comes to Roe v Wade, it's already too late to save it. I think it's South Dakota... there is one clinic IN THE ENTIRE STATE where one can get an abortion. I'm guessing there are wide swaths through other states where abortion is pretty much inaccessible as well.
