So yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of closing. Fitting I spent it with neighbors. Monday is 2 years of the first night spent here.

Next, I found out my "real mom's"* son finished the Boston Marathon. 4 hours and change.
* so she's a close friend of my mom's but we are more alike than my mom. Her daughter is like mine. She also bought for me today the zombie heels and matching purse! I have an abundance of awesome moms!

He did a shitton for B'more. Camden Yards, Harborplace, feet in the street, lighting fires under people. But he could also be an unmitigated ass whose actions undermined him in later years and really? Aren't at all forgivable.

My cousin put a bug in my ear about starting my own business and while I think it would be a long shot for me to do, I have been doing a bit of research and brainstorming tonight. My mother on the other hand is so stressed about my unemployment that she spends hours a day looking for jobs.
