Gud, my thoughts are with you and your family. Having gone through something similar in my family, I will say that the resilience of the human body is amazing. The mind can heal, too, but in some ways it's much slower and trickier. But it can be done.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. It looks like my BIL will be fine, according to him he took enough of his meds to equal 20 grams of acetaminophen and nobody knew until eight hours later. However his blood tests don't match what he says. Something doesn't quite add up.
