Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, yes they will. Though best to go at a time when theyre not busy, and have some idea what you want

Right on.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm just proud of myself for knowing immediately what a fleshlight is.

I spent three hours in bed this afternoon with a nauseating headache. Fortunately, DH took the kids to the grocery store. Total win for the hubby.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nephew update--it IS viral meningitis (the "good" kind). So, yay! However, it was caused by some OTHER infection which they are still trying to pin down. His doctor scheduled all the specialists to come at once, so they could share information and my SiL said it was just like House, only nice. We told her in that case, they could rule out Lupus.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

A school in Mar Vista (which is between Culver City-ish and Venice) has a waiver rate that's over 60% in K-1.

Oo, which one? I'm curious. Also sadly not surprised. I'm pretty sure many of the parents at our school have the same tendencies.

Good? news for your nephew, Scrappy.

Man, I just made a potato/spinach/mushroom cheesy casserole that was WAY more trouble than it's worth. Not bad, but nothing exciting. Ah well. I guess that's what weekend are for.

I also want to paint the basement door purple, and its screen door red. Maybe this summer. I need to rescreen and fix the screen door in a few places.

Primer is drying, I should be able to start actual painting after my laundry is done. I just need to remember to be patient and go slowly. Primer, I could slap it on, but this is high gloss, not as forgiving.

Timed my swim just right; as I was sanding the door (to smooth out where I'd epoxied holes- it worked AWESOME! You can't tell they were even there! Even the one that was dented in AND sprung outwards-took a ton of epoxy to fill it in, but the sander got it completely flat! I love my sander) massive lightning storm.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I hope you continue to get "good" news and clear positive directions for your nephew, Scrappy.

One coat done. I think the next will be in the morning. It's a PITA.

I think I might go out and get semi-gloss instead of regular gloss. Won't matter since there's a base coat on that I need to lightly sand to undo some beginner's mistakes.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

semi gloss is usually all you ever need in a home. hi gloss is...sort of a specialty sheen. you have to be really careful with it.
