It's never occurred to me that fatherlike things or familylike looks are out of the runnings. As long as you actually aren't my father, you're good.

It's not that (the family-like), but I knew of no one else who used Old Spice or Tom's for nearly two decades. It's firmly DAD for me.

I don't know of anyone else that uses Old Spice other than my father. I just don't care.

Jon and I both use Ivory soap in the shower, and he uses Head and Shoulders shampoo. I use cheap shampoo, and whatever flavor conditioner will fix whatever thing is going on with my hair that day (frizzies, split ends, flat etc.)

So apparently the theme next year at work is Earth/Earth Day or something really vague and planet earthy. I inquired as to whether this was chosen because that was the year Earth was supposed to end. I think I got everyone on board with theming the camps from "Living off the Land" to "How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse". We have, after all, been trying to find a way to target the older kids.

Oh, DH has been using Old Spice shaving soap & deodorant since college.

We use Lever soap and DH uses Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil Shampoo, which is WAY more expensive than my cheap drugstore stuff. He loves it and says the scent wakes him up every morning. He wears Paco Rabanne, which he has done since high school, apparently. He smells good.

I avoid scented soaps and deodorants entirely; I have a tendency to get rashes. And actually, I use deodorant/antiperspirant as little as I can these days, only using it sparingly during hot summer weather.
