Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have online bill pay and edeposits with my credit union and they have worked just fine. While they don't have the vast network of ATMs, they reimburse me for any ATM fees.

Our credit union is utterly wonderful except the complete non-online presence. We can't do any online bill pay at all.

Thrive to spite them

Meara - both my old credit union and my new CU have online bill pay.

My new one (which actually serves fewer people) has was to track your spending --kinda like Mint or Quicken but built in and you can add other cards/accounts.

They also offer tranfers, text banking & notifications, Mobile Web Banking and more stuff I haven't explored yet.

My previous CU had a rewards points program for the debit AND credit cards and you can redeem the points for good stuff too - one of Mom's friends used it to get an ipod Touch and I just got a bunch of Lands' End gift cards.

My current CU pays a percentage back. My bank account isn't that big so it's only $.68 for this month but it's still free money.

I don't know how banks work, but when I had to replace my CC with my old CU it was a 10 minute wait in the lobby and they brought me a new one. I got my new Debit Card at the new credit union on the spot. The only thing I had to wait for was the checks.

Plus you only need to keep $25 in savings account to activate the account and keep an account open.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Our credit union's online bill pay is quite good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat, those look delicious, except the caramel puts them over the top for me.

What's the deal with credit unions? Do you have to belong to/work with a certain organisation to be able to join, or are they open to everyone?

It depends on the credit union. The one I previously belonged to started out as an "education" credit union and only teachers, students, or school employees (and their immediate family) could join. But then it changed and anyone living or working in the county and a few surrounding counties could join.

But in that town there were credit unions from the university employees, state employees and a few others.

The current one I'm to belong you have to live, work, worship, or attend school in one of 6 counties.

However once you are member of a credit union you can stay a member even if you move out of the area.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was wondering about tommy, too. I wanted to share this: [link]
