Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

watching with bemusement as Tim puts mail in a ziploc baggie. (No, I have NO idea.)

Okay, I misrepresented him; he wasn't putting mail in a ziploc baggie. He was putting *financial records* in a ziploc baggie. (WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

As it turns out, Hulu+ won't help me because FOX has gone insane. It seems only Dish network subscribers can get the episodes before 8 days. And no new episodes of the current season are even on iTunes!

I KNOW! I think this is a really terrible move on their part. I suspect that won’t last long.

I was a about to say maybe Glee fans will scream at them, but I just noticed that new eps of Glee are on iTunes. So is FOX trying to make the lower rated shows harder to watch? Why does FOX hate me?

Financial records in a ziplock? I suppose it keeps them together and stuff. I have financial records in a plastic envelope thingie, which is really a more expensive more durable ziplock that doesn't even...zip.

Well half a one and half a duck fat biscuit. And then a lot of venison chili and cornbread and apple crisp

OMG that (and the maple bacon biscuit) sounds delicious.

It's Saturday night, and my new roommate and I went out to dinner, and on the way back joined the local co-op. I feel so very adult. Joining the coop on Saturday night.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

JIlli, I met an LJ friend of yours on IO9. I don't know what name you'd know her by, but I have asked,

eta: SMU?

Awww, Smu! She's a doll. She's made me several playlists that are fantastic. How did you find out she knew me?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Local co-ops can be great. I quite like mine.

I guess if there's a chance of water damage, zip locking your financials makes sense. I put my backup hard drive in a ziplock bag when we were worried about a hurricane. Which I wouldn't associate with The Midwest, but then I wouldn't have associated them with Vermont, either.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

American Horror looks like three steps beyond American Gothic (anyone remember that show? with Gary Cole and Paige Turco?), in terms of the horror and the sex.

Loved it!

I just discovered a French press that makes a full size pot of coffee. It's like my life had no meaning until this moment.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Time frigging flies.

The twins turned five today. My sister didn't know she was preg when I left.... How?!?!

Time flies.

I'd ziploc files if I filed well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How did you find out she knew me?

We were talking about well dressed Goths, so of course you came up.

Coinciding with a trauma at the ER, so I'll have a but of a wait. First nurse kinda gave me shit for looking good. Hmmph. Other people rushed to my defense and said I always look good. He's been apologising ever since.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's like the opposite of when I was giving blood with msbelle and the phlebotomist asked me if she was always that pale....
