You have to use words they've never heard before to have your family look at you funny?
Have I not told stories of my family? I am so terribly mundane.
ION : rage warning - (so many wrong things in this article)
I just came in to post that. With rage.
So, it's Friday--what's everyone doing this weekend?
I'm finally going to get my behind into the pool tomorrow and Sunday (it's been several weeks and I've got to get moving again). Tonight, I have to stop by the grocery store on the way home, then tomorrow, take the cat in to the vet for claw trimming, finish off my homework for next Wednesday, and then maybe head over to Evanston for a F2F (for Shakesville). Sunday I get to watch the Bears lose again and clean my apartment. And in between all of that, it's cross-stitching (I'm trying to finish off my brother and SIL's Christmas project before Halloween, so I can get it framed and sent to them in plenty of time and then get started on all of the ornaments I'm making for gifts).
The crowd is getting pretty big outside. It's the first time it feels like a real protest.
Isn't some big band performing or some shit?
I saw a great pic of a bunch of United pilots all showing up at the protest yesterday (I think?), all in uniform and looking very impressive indeed.
There are rumors that Radiohead is supposed to show up. There aren't any bands playing. The TWU just showed up, too.
There was a report that a few different unions will begin marching/occupying with them next week.
What's it like over there? All the news reports are sort of lame and "stupid hipster kids let's laugh at them" kind of stuff.
Huh. Thunderstorm.
