I just had my first sleep psych session. In order to convince me that I'm not unmanageable, the doc told me about a case she had where the woman was worse off. Fine, that happens to me a lot. Her point was that serious chronic pain issues don't mean she can't help my sleep cycle.
The bit where she told me the chick was black and that it was a real inner city sob story? NSM. Also, "My secretary is from Trinidad¹! But she grew up in England."
