Cash, I've been Owen, and I'm sorry you're having to deal with the aspects that must have driven my Mom nuts.
It gives me hope for his impending amazing adulthood. Truth be told, I knew it was going to happen eventually. I just expected Olivia to be the first one to get into a fight.
Also, "My secretary is from Trinidad¹! But she grew up in England."
I kind of get where the impulse for this comes from ("Oh, I'm not racist! I know another black person!"), but ugh. Filters, people.
Does anyone know why I thought having a personal training session in Palo Alto at 7:00 am was a good idea?

This is the only explaination I can think of.
Probably the same reason I thought a 7:15 parent/teacher conference was a good idea. yawn yawn gronkity gronk gronk.

I just said to a coworker, "Did you hear the big news??" and she thought I meant something in our field, when actually I meant Demi kicking Ashton out of the house. Why did she think I was working before 9:30?
Is anything at 7 am a good idea in and of itself?
Granted, I was up at 6:15 this morning to drag my sorry (carc)ass into work, so I shouldn't talk.
I had a weird night's sleep last night - it definitely didn't feel like I got much of any length, but I also had some hellaciously strange dreams, including something I semi-recall had to do with Doctor Who, though I can't remember which one if that was so.
The lack of any tossing and turning defnitely made up for the constantly awake feeling. Has anybody else ever had relaxing insomnia? Because that's the only way I can describe it.
