Punishingly Intricate

You might want to check out some Parks & Rec re: this.

Ha! Yes, indeed. I couldn't really stand to go to my community's community meetings. Too many people get on my last nerve including a couple of the long-standing, most active members of the community association.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have no idea how y'all will find out if I'm dead. My sister could find some of y'all on LJ, I guess. I think meara and Vortex might have her on their friends lists.

It would occur to my sister sooner or later to come post here. And she knows Trudy IRL (and more importantly for these purposes, on Facebook.) So y'all will find out in due course.

I already told a work friend to call the cops if she doesn't see me for a couple of days and I don't respond to her texts, after a local news story about someone being dead in an apartment for days.

This, on the other hand, would have the cops at my door several times a year.

Really, checking here ought to be the emergency plan in the first place.

A remote-controlled shark just swam behind my desk.

I totally want one of those.

Actually, the interest rate shouldn't change, it's just a weighted average of the various loans.

My interest rate went way down when I consolidated 8 or 9 years ago. I think they were like 6 and 8, and ended up consolidated at a little over 4.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I need someone to tell me I can survive work until it's time to go on vacation.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

you can survive work, Perkins.

You can do it.

meara - Sep 27, 2011 5:34:17 pm PDT #28827 of 30001

Yeah, back in the day I consolidated to get a better rate, but the deal was you could only do it once.

Definitely check nonpaying the principal early. (I also did this with a bonus from work)

All your car stories are scaring me--mine is 10 years old and I don't want a car payment anytime soon! Still freaking out I have a house payment!!

Eta: vortex will know if I'm dead. Also one more reason to have a roommate, so someone would notice. And considering I check here and email approx 89 times a day, if I didn't answer for more than anday or so...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Can I do it without losing my shit and screaming GETOUTGETOUTGETOUT

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You can totally do it, Perkins! When is Hawaii and delicious, relaxing vacation?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can do it, Perkins! *\\o/* You can always come capslock in here.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Dark red towels that say "vampire", yep. Because I EMBRACE my cliché, dammit.

Jilli, these come in red

n the end, it was the pseudicide that did the most emotional damage. If he'd just faded away, it would have been kinder -- in response to the friendliness he'd been shown by this community, he repaid it with mean-spirited selfish stir-causing.

but isn't that the whole point? To see an outpouring of sympathy or anger regarding this fictional person? If the trickster doesn't see the effects of the trick, what's the point? (of course, one could argue what is the point of tricking in the first place?)

Eta: vortex will know if I'm dead.

and I will be very upset, for the record.

There are enough people that will know IRL so that it will eventually trickle to my online life. For example, Meara's and my friend N would let meara know and she would let you all know. And N would tell my other online group. As a backup Fred Pete is a member of both :)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I did not kill anyone today!!!

I was tempted.

If I snuff it, Jilli and Pete will know. As will Cass. And Cass and Jilli can fight over who gets to be my porn buddy.
