Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I just received a report of a patient who died three times, and since death is still ongoing, we expect a fourth death any day now.

So, acute-on-chronic death? Or just a really big difference between mostly dead and all dead?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There are three different dates of death. Two of them within inches of each other.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Two of them within inches of each other.

I expect, under reasonable circumstances, for the dates of my deaths, should I have more than one, to be quite spatially close. I would not even be surprised if the date of my birth were to be found inches away from the date of my death.

Also, to hell with this document.

Sometime after Gus's "death," a truck making an illegal left turn hit me on my bike. Although I eventually fully recovered from my injuries, I was in bad shape at first.

One of the absurd things that occurred to me as I drifted in and out of sensibility in the hospital bed, was that if I died my girlfriend (now wife) would eventually register here, log on, and announce my untimely death, which occurred under dramatic circumstances.

I was a regular poster back then, but no one had actually met me, so I imagined that her appearence would be taken as a dramatic pseudicide on my part. The idea really bothered me. But, you know, I wasn't thinking clearly at the time.

Fortunately, there was no opportunity to test the prediction.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

If I die, Kristen will let you all know.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm glad you didn't die, Rick!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What if Kristen dies at the same time? Did you think about that???

No, didn't think so.

I have no idea how y'all will find out if I'm dead. My sister could find some of y'all on LJ, I guess. I think meara and Vortex might have her on their friends lists.

Compassionately intolerant

Thank goodness, Rick!

It's funny, but I do occasionally think about who will be responsible for letting you all know of my passing.

That says a lot about the importance of this community in my life, obviously. It also says something about how the world has changed.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I have no idea how y'all will find out if I'm dead.

CFerg posts here occasionally, yes? (Because, of course, that's the first thing he should think of. What, he has other things to do?)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The SO knows about you guys, but I don't know if he'd think to come post here. I guess he'd announce on facebook, and you would see it there.
