Yes, yes, feel better Suzi. I seem to only be able to make one topic posts in Natter today.

Trust my rage

And thanks again, Amy and everyone else. I think the there is just this sort of rabbit-hole, what is going on, plus the scary uncertain future and it leads to a lot of self-questioning on my part.

My mother has specifically requested the minicups when she's out here next month(!)

Shopped, swam (it was kinda busy, but I still kept up my awesome time, even if my pace was necessarily all over the place,) cleaned, manicure.

Compassionately intolerant

Leise, what a lovely thing to be able to say about your spouse. Just beautiful. Clearly, you deserve such a partner! Happy anniversary.

So sorry you feel sucky, Suzi. Healing ~ma headed your way.

I love the idea of confectionery support. Tangible and tasty.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I would love a TJ's care package but know not what to wish for.

I know some of us have shared concerns here before about having young kindergartners (and so on). I haven't read this entire article but it seems to offer some reassurance. [link]

One neighbor just volunteered her husband (who I am also friends with) to fix my ceiling. However, I would only do that in an emergency, as I'm sure she'd get the evil eye for doing so. Another neighbor's boytoy is going to be in town for a month and is looking for handyman work, so she's seeing if he can do it. Top that off with: the new neighbor's boyfriend works in construction.

I have an embarrassment of neighbors!

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Suzi, meara, hope you both feel better!

I'm happy to send TJ's care packages to any Buffistas that need them, mid-October-ish.

Both Emmett and Matilda are September babies, and I'm very glad I moved them up instead of held them back. In fact, I'm quite disgruntled about the changing law in California which will make the cut-off date Sept 1. It goes into effect too late to hold Matilda back, but I think it's a shitty idea.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It used to be a thing, especially in Bitches, that chocolate accompanied a tape of a missed show, or a mix cd to cheer someone up, or a tiara or blanket in the exchanges. I kind of miss that tradtion.

My birthday's in February, and I was moved ahead a year, thus was the youngest in my class, and emotionally quite behind my classmates. It was not a helpful move for me.
