Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It used to be a thing, especially in Bitches, that chocolate accompanied a tape of a missed show, or a mix cd to cheer someone up, or a tiara or blanket in the exchanges. I kind of miss that tradtion.

My birthday's in February, and I was moved ahead a year, thus was the youngest in my class, and emotionally quite behind my classmates. It was not a helpful move for me.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Hot tea with honey and a shot of whiskey maybe?

Been there done that. The whiskey is nice, but hasn't really helped with the feeling better thing.

CJ isn't home yet from his weekend in the wilds of Wyoming. Should be here in about an hour. I think I'll need to send him straight to bed so he doesn't get sick.

Because books.

Where in WY did he go? Southern half, I guess?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm also happy to send a holiday TJs package to someone, once their seasonal stuff like peppermint JoJos come out.

Eta: And organize senders and receivers, if people want to email me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I remember being very annoyed when my family moved the year I was four. Where we used to live, the cutoff date had me starting kindergarten the year I turned five, and I went through the pre-K year knowing that the next year would be kindergarten. Then we moved, and in the new town, the cutoff date was earlier, and I'd start kindergarten the year I turned six, which meant that I had to go through another year of pre-K.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Feel better, Suzi!

I ain't gonna lie, I'd love a TJ's care package. I can reciprocate with pralines and Zapp's potato chips and Tony Chachere creole seasoning!

So can/will it be an ongoing, kind of random thing (she asked, with hope)? Like, if three months from now, I'm back where there's a TJs and I e-mail Perkins and say, "Hey, I'm in a TJs share the love mood, who's up next?", would that work?

Or, say, so-and-so could use a pick-me-up, I wonder if he/she is on the TJs list. But, then, really even if you live next door to a TJs, receiving a TJs package would still be a pick-me-up. Ramble. I ramble.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Perkins, I don't know what this will end up looking like, but thanks for being willing to organize the TJs givers/receivers.

Insent.
