I use mint, but I haven't been in there in about a month because I'm scared to see how much I spent in august and september!! I don't want to know. I do think I need to send back the boots I ordered off Zappo's--they're OK, but not perfect.

I'm using You Need a Budget (YNAB). Still trying to decide how I like it, I'm not very constant about using it.
I'm transitioning from Quicken because when I upgraded to Lion, Quicken tombstoned, so I downgraded to get it back. Which is to say - also interested in how you did that, Pix.
Damn, ita. I'm so sorry.
Oh, ita... I am so sorry. I don't know what to say.
Oh, wow, I just had a really unpleasant encounter with an entitled, angry white guy at the store. I have been yelled at and called a bitch for 'trying to cut in front of him in line'. And he just knew I was going to do it, too.
According to store employees, he's in there all the time and is always that horrible, so I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for him in the future.
ita, I miss you fighting, too. I miss the you you were then, and I'm so very sorry you've had to, at the least, sideline it for a while. I really don't know what to say. I understand that sort of loss, but there's nothing that can make it better.
Pix, I was told Quicken uses Rosetta and thus cannot run on Lion. Intuit even warned people that they have to back up there dbs because it won't open on Lion. What's what?
Huh. I have no idea, but I've been using it without a problem for the last month. Just balanced and reconciled today, actually. (I use Quicken Essentials, if it matters.)
ita, I hate that you can't fight. It's so brutally unfair.
It's a terrible loss, ita. I'm sorry.
It sucks ass, ita.
Took Taylor out to dinner and we talked college, owning a home, parents, what we've been up to. Came back here and her guy friend (don't know if it is romantic or not, but she is spending the night there, and given dad is ok with that, thinking not) joined us. He's also a Y junkie, so had come to work out while we did dinner & then meet up with her. He came in 'just for a minute' and then me and the two 16 year olds spent a couple of hilarious hours talking. He didn't want to leave when his mom called to ask him to stop and grab her some dinner on the way home, which was now please.
I think Taylor is doing her level best to make me like teens. Every one of the friends she's brought by have impressed me with their sweetness and maturity, and the fact they genuinely seem to like hanging out with a thirtysomething and they are fun to hang out with. There is so much curiosity and sillines. I appreciate a 16 year old boy who can tell a hilarious story of having his bell rung by a teeny tiny woman in his MMA training and how it made him realize that maybe he wanted to rethink this, because he'd never had a partner go all out before and you know what he didn't like it at all!
My cats are plumb-wore out. They got lots and lots of attention. Even Devi, which is so weird. Taylor, I understand. Tall boisterous guy, I do not.
