The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins, are you going to be in the bay area on October 16? Wanna have dinner?

Normally I would be all over that with polka dots and a bag of chips, but on the 16th I will be eating tacos or sushi or both in Hawaii with shrift.

Also, I have that thing ready to send to you, but the mailing process defeated me this week. Monday!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

A good electrician can document that the battery is taking a charge, but not charging fully.

Ooo, thanks. Do they need to be an auto electrician, or would residential work as well? 'Cause I kinda work with a few...

YAY HAWAII! I didn't know what your dates were -- we're walking the half marathon and sleeping one night in a hotel room that has no preschoolers in it!

You are wonderful!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

on the 16th I will be eating tacos or sushi or both in Hawaii with shrift.

Ooh, that sounds like an excellent plan.

Compassionately intolerant

I had a similar neighbor howdy this evening while walking the little guy.

I shared my theory about how this neighborhood has a high tolerance for, and actually a great expectation of, eccentricity. The young, totally non-eccentric, gentleman to whom I spoke could not have agreed more. Heh. We are all characters with a capital C.

I love that about this place.

Speaking of such, there is a big neighborhood event tomorrow, at which there will be trapeze artists...and a petting zoo...and the Georgetown bell choir.

I'll be doing balloon decorating for the first time in years. Big fun!

Taylor (my mentee) is planning on coming over tomorrow night. Will probably take her out to dinner. Still find it sorta amazing that I'm still so important to a teen that she'd rather spend a Saturday evening with me than be out and about.
