You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news, Maria! I'm glad you guys finally came out on the good side of the odds.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Maria, that's excellent news! Continuing ~ma for both of you!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm trying not to let myself get too excited, because there may be micro mets that aren't visible yet. And regardless of which way he goes for treatment (high-dose interferon or the JHU clinical trial, which includes major surgery), it's not going to be pretty. He's going to be sick for a while, but yes, I'm breathing a tad bit easier now.

I'm breathing a tad bit easier now.

All to the good.

In totally other news, I'm not sure why but I'm watching the very last All My Children. I have no idea who half these people are, but good god Tad Martin looks ... older. And I saw Angie and Jesse!

Yay, Maria!

The entire development team is sitting where they can watch me over my shoulder. And look where I am and what I'm doing.

What exactly are you doing?

Well, I'm not going to IO9, where I started a photospam of characters named Jack.

But I am also not updating the RIC log with outstanding issues from the development document, nor starting on the framework of the solutions document for next week. In fact, I moved all my windows over so they can see my Batman wallpaper changing.

Why am I looking at real estate again? I've no intention of moving for at least five years.

So I'm guessing now would not be a good time to update Provocateuse, eh?

Zen, real estate can be escapist. Who cares if you're actually thinking of moving?
