Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

waves to ita !'s development team

Why am I looking at real estate again? I've no intention of moving for at least five years.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

So I'm guessing now would not be a good time to update Provocateuse, eh?

Zen, real estate can be escapist. Who cares if you're actually thinking of moving?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In totally other news, I'm not sure why but I'm watching the very last All My Children. I have no idea who half these people are, but good god Tad Martin looks ... older. And I saw Angie and Jesse!

I did that with Guiding Light, and it was the same experience -- some strangers, but a bunch of "old friends," too.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh, Maria, thank god. I know it's a long road ahead of you both, but that must be a HUGE relief, and I'm so glad.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

In really good news, DH's full body scan came back, and NO CANCER IN THE MAJOR ORGANS! I'll take it.

That is EXCELLENT!

Kathy, glad you still have a job, but what a huge upheaval!

Because books.

I should have watched the last Guiding Light. That was my soap for years and years, thanks to my mom. Everyone else was glued to General Hospital, and I was running home to see the Bauers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't close out Another World as it deserved. Man, I loved that show.

Me too. I still think Another World when I see Julian McMahon's name, not Nip/Tuck. Lo, I am old.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I watched one of the final All My Children and was sad because that was my grandma's show. (Mine, when I dabble is GH, still.)

Man, eavesdropping at the airport is most interesting. Which is good since I am stuck here forEVER.
