"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Today is Wear Bodily Fluids day. Okay, it's not. It's Clutch Your Pearls day.

ALSO, finally (finally!!) a day where I'm dressed appropriately. Also, my worn bodily fluids aren't mine. The pearls are, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I need to stop buying tea at Teavana. They upsell me every time. At least this time it was just tea, and just the flavour I wanted...but so much of it!

Good things it's like crack and is low-caffeine.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I love Teavana and usually get the high caffeine. But I've put myself on a no-buy, which means don't even get close to the store. I have too much other tea in my house that I like also. Until it is gone, no expensive stuff for me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was just telling my sister about my plans for next summer's Great Britain trip, and she told me that I am now on a no-buy for the next 10 months, or at least a "think hard before you buy." I did indulge in a small Amazon purchase this week (took some stuff off my wish list), just a book and a few cheap computer games, and am just about to do a small iTunes shopping spree. I want to add a few favorite New Wave songs to my iPod--some New Order, Communards, and some REM.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm behind in Cable Drama so posting this here, but how the hell do they do a promo spot for Leverage with everyone singing and Christian Kane is not in it?

...wow, an hour and 15 minutes without a post? Did I get Left Behind??

msbelle - Sep 22, 2011 8:29:44 pm PDT #27923 of 30001
I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Kat and I are one with the annoying kids wrt soccer today. mac REFUSED to go to his game tonight. GAME! not practice. Somewhere between school and the ICE CREAM COUNTER where I was going to buy him a milkshake, he got FURIOUS with me about the milkshake. My kid can out crazy most. Worst thing was that he committed milkshake-o-cide rather than just let me have it, because without tasting it he declared it disgusting. It is fucking ice cream and milk, how bad could that be?!??! srsly.

Did I get Left Behind??

Yes.

Because of the gay.

meara - Sep 22, 2011 8:37:46 pm PDT #27925 of 30001

Dude. I am not getting enough Gay to be left behind, these days, I swear!

(OK, there was the phone sex a few days ago. And plans for future sex. But not until NOVEMBER, anything could happen between now and then, and given how my life is, she'll probably get a girlfriend and end up staying in my guestroom!)

Any Gay is enough for being Left Behind. I assume.

Well, for them. Not for us. We'd like hot, on-tap Gay.

Or straight.

Sex, basically.

Unless you are Ace. Then unhot, on-tap maybe cuddles?

Basically people should have what they want?
