Kat and I are one with the annoying kids wrt soccer today. mac REFUSED to go to his game tonight. GAME! not practice. Somewhere between school and the ICE CREAM COUNTER where I was going to buy him a milkshake, he got FURIOUS with me about the milkshake. My kid can out crazy most. Worst thing was that he committed milkshake-o-cide rather than just let me have it, because without tasting it he declared it disgusting. It is fucking ice cream and milk, how bad could that be?!??! srsly.

I'm in the middle of Grey's (TiVo-delayed) and reallllly wondering if they're actually going to let Christina Yang have an abortion, since apparently you could do that in the 70s if you were Bea Arthur but these days something magic has to happen (I totally expected them to pull some BS copout "Owen got trapped in a sinkhole and Christina feels so awful she keeps the baby!" shit. But then Mere gave a little "this is who she is" speech to Christina, and man I hate how this show plays with my emotions, being awful and cheesy and predictable one moment, and being awesome the next...

Also on Grey's (hey, apparently I'm just gonna post all up on this board, since no one else is), the whole "OMG Meredith destroyed my trial! Is BS. Because while bad, and while she'd get kicked off the trial for it, she didn't destroy the trial. It was an open label (or at least single-blind--I don't recall if the patients know what they get) randomized trial. So by changing what Adele got, she changed the randomized part, but it was still open label (...which is really poor trial design, but whatever), and didn't actually affect it all that much. Not good, but not "my precious trial is RUINED!" If it had been double-blind, and she knew and was doing the post-surgery testing, then that would be much worse, because you're destroying the blind.

Seriously, Shonda, get someone who understands what they're doing?

ETA: OMG, SERIOUSLY find someone who gets what they're doing, the Chief can't just change to Bailey there are things to sign and forms to submit and blah blah blah. Argh.
