Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Yeah. I gotta get out more. Unfortunately, none of my single friends are interested in prying themselves out of the house, either.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I used to attract alcoholics and problem drinkers. Now it seems to be people with control issues and a certain level of OCD. ::shrugs:: Ooo, I did date that one Nice Guy who turned epically nasty after we broke up, including the immortal email to my sister - "Tell your fat bitch of a sister she's better off sticking with dykes, and the same goes for you." (the memory of which message now cracks me up to no end)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I know cookies are following me around

Oh, yeah. Two weeks ago, I was getting ads for Lifetime and Bally's, and now I'm getting all car ads.

Speaking of, I'm finally picking up my Mazda3 tonight! Signed all the paperwork on Saturday, and they're delivering the car from the Rockford dealership today. Monthly payments are going to be $9 more than I expected due to the fact that when they told me that I was eligible for 0% financing, they lied, and then when they said I would be getting $500 back since I didn't qualify for the 0% financing, they lied again. But, I did end up with 2.8%, so I can't complain too much, and I did resist firmly when they kept pushing their various warranties and maintenance packages at me. The only extras I got were the iPod cable to control my iPod through the steering wheel, and the remote starter which will make the car much warmer for me in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Awww. Do you think all that misogyny keeps him warm at night and makes him eggs in the morning?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She's not sitting around waiting to be tapped on the head by the chosen schlong. She has to like him too, and the topic has to come up.

Actually, that's my point. They are billing her as this girl who is just trying to go out and get laid, but she's having soooooo much trouble.

Because books.

Oh, I don't see her as someone just looking to get laid. More as someone who wants a boyfriend, which is a different thing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They are billing her as this girl who is just trying to go out and get laid, but she's having soooooo much trouble.

Is that how it's being sold? That's really not the show at all, based on the pilot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Unfortunately, none of my single friends are interested in prying themselves out of the house, either

Excuse you? You're playing the other people are hermits card?

Actually, that's my point

But not mine. You just said someone that pretty shouldn't be having difficulty. The pretty doesn't fix it.

You got a problem with that?

Urgh. I hate when someone says I haven't watched any of X, but character Y is...

And when they draw conclusions about how an actor felt about their role based on nothing other than the movie, disregarding interviews and subsequent roles. You're not having opinions, you're making stuff up.
