"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't quite understand the point of this law:

Have you ever been to France? Because I think its pretty consistent with a French cultural presumption that The French Way Is The Right Way.

Maybe if they started wearing veils by Hermes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have you ever been to France?

Nope.

Because I think its pretty consistent with a French cultural presumption that The French Way Is The Right Way.

Yeah, I figured it was a French thing that I just don't understand.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I used to get ass dialed all the time, for one reason or another. Now, if Burrell doesn't do it, it doesn't happen.

I have an email in my inbox from a name really similar to twatt in my inbox. It's really distracting.

I'm noticing displays of $159 tickets for driving and texting. I need to look up and see what they cover under "texting". Because they can't mean just that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a guy I went on one date with, who still ass-dials me occasionally. I don't understand why me! Also, I can never delete him from my phone now, because I would answer the call if I didn't realize it was him....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

David just ass-dialed me right now. He doesn't realize it, but he's on the phone with me right now.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I have been under the impression that signing up for credit cards and then canceling them is bad for your credit score. Or signing up for, like, seventeen credit cards. I don't need more credit cards. I am happy with the one I use and the one I keep open just because it's old and I never use it. My dad claims that nothing bad will happen and I should be taking all these free miles because they're free, and I say nothing's for free. I guess he's been doing it for years and been fine, so I don't know.

To quote Dave Ramsey: "No one has ever gotten rich from frequent flyer miles."

Yeah, I figured it was a French thing that I just don't understand.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that many girls and women are abused by families and neighbors if they don't wear the veil, so many of these measures are to protect the women that don't want to wear the veil.

Also remember that, unlike the US, France has a strong tradition of assimilation. Or, as David said, the French way is the right way.

Yikes! I was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That reminds me, I have, I suppose, extensive reward points with my credit card that I should use for...something. I should check that.

My father once accidentally sent a blank text to a guy I hooked up with. For a million reasons I hope he'd deleted my number from his phone.

You were having breakfast with Matilda, right?
