The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Erika!

Franny got up this morning and put on black lipstick before we set out to buy bagels. Her wee gothiness cracks me up because, like a certain perky goth we know, Franny's goth tendencies tend to come with a lot of bright colors and glitter.

Bweeee! Awww, Franny! I want a picture of the wee gothling.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I wanted to see Contagion because I love pandemic stories, but then I heard that the catalyst of the contagion was (spoiler only for the cause of the illness): bats. And bats are having a rough enough time. I love them and think I will yell at the screen.

Too much meta.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, don't bring your cold to "Contagion" Thanks, everyone! Nilly, I keep missing you...I'm sure that guy from "Numbers" who makes me think of you would have a formula for it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Allyson,

that isn't it exactly. spoilers for the end of the movie: The catalyst is really a big pharma company who is clearcutting a forest, which drives bats to a particular part of the region with pig farms. The bats' partially eaten food is eaten by the pigs. The virus' origin is bat AND pig.

I want to see Contagion, but I would unnerve the other people in the theater in my current coughing and dripping state.

I mean, I agree for germ reasons, but it would be pretty hilarious.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would like the point out that the Saints are kicking ass.

I have jury duty tomorrow, which I'm actually kind of fine with. I get to sleep in a little bit, and I don't have to deal with work stupidness.

Do you ever feel like you're on everyone's RL Marcie list?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's a pretty common condition, Allyson. I just thought it was the way everybody felt most of the time.

Oh. Maybe I should be more annoying.

That's one way to go. I usually try killing 'em with kindness and charm and a blinding smile. That way I can walk away knowing I'm SO MUCH the better person than they.
