"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, congrats!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Congrats, Suzi!

Huh, I just realized that when the drip pan under one of my stove burners burst into flame the other day (it was like having a gas stove again! Except not) maybe I should have pulled out the actual fire extinguisher rather than the baking soda. Oh, well, fire was in fact extinguished.

I just get my lashes dyed once a month and leave it at that. I've never had a mascara, even waterproof ones, that didn't end up under my eyes. I'll have to try blinc before my next fancy do.

Speaking of baking soda, does anyone know where you can buy it in bulk (aside from CostCo or Sams Club, since I'm a single apartment dweller who doesn't buy much in bulk and doesn't have memberships)? I go through so much of it, what with cleaning and all. Those little boxes from the grocery store don't cut it.

We are finally back home (airline troubles - my daughter didn't miss us at all!). I can't answer specific questions about the show until after it airs, but it was a positive experience. I only wish we were on for a happy reason.

AC's eyes are very blue, and they are like laser beams when they are pointed at you. He had a good handshake, a really nice makeup person (she worked on me), and obviously loves animals.

Sparky, glad you are home and I hope AC's show helps you get Sass back.

I hope AC's show helps you get Sass back.

That's the only reason we said yes, because we hope it will. We're running out of ideas, and she's still out there.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Calli, Amazon? Or Target?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Calli, try Lowe's or Home Depot or a hardware store.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, Suzi!

Ugh, Sheryl -- good luck.

Sparky, I'm looking forward to seeing you on TV, but mostly I hope it gets Sass home.

Thanks! I'll be going to Lowes, and quite possibly Target, today. I'll look for big-ass boxes of baking soda there.

Sparky, I'm glad your AC experience went well.

So, as part of my pre-trip shopping, I picked up these shoes: [link] My goodness, they're comfortable. It was like wearing slippers, only more cushion-y and supportive in the soles. And the Zappos reviews suggest they're good for long walks, too.
