Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, Suzi!

Ugh, Sheryl -- good luck.

Sparky, I'm looking forward to seeing you on TV, but mostly I hope it gets Sass home.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks! I'll be going to Lowes, and quite possibly Target, today. I'll look for big-ass boxes of baking soda there.

Sparky, I'm glad your AC experience went well.

So, as part of my pre-trip shopping, I picked up these shoes: [link] My goodness, they're comfortable. It was like wearing slippers, only more cushion-y and supportive in the soles. And the Zappos reviews suggest they're good for long walks, too.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yay Suzi!

I am so hopeful for Sass. Also, I know you do not want to wait this long, but I just saw a story about a cat reunited with her family after about 6 years!

I am getting really annoyed with this mild cold that will not die. I only really felt bad for 2 days, but I started getting sick last Sunday. I think it is getting better because there is a lot less yellow mucous And no more sinus pain but my throat is killing me. From the mouthbreathing while I sleep.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay Suzi!

Heading to Intervention con today. It's a local convention about webcomics and other net stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I forgot to close the Sephora window last night, and gave in this morning. Oops. The store is really close, though, so I can return stuff if I change my mind. And still keep the samples! Win-win.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad the experience was positive, Sparky! I hope it gets Sass back!

Happy Phoenix day, everyone!

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Congrats, Suzi!

Yay, Sparky! I really hope this helps get Sass back.

Fruit fly update: there is a marked reduction from last night. I think that I just need to be patient, which isn't my strong suit. Most of the flies that aren't in the traps are hanging around the edges of them, like they're thinking about it. There are still a handful hanging out on the mirrors (narcissists!) but I think by tomorrow, it will be much better. Thanks for all the advice!

eta: Happy Birthday, Perkins!

Happy Birthday, Perkins!

Congratulations, Suzi!

And I shall hold my thumbs for the Sparky household. May Sassafrass find her way home.
