Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am so sorry, Cash.

Because books.

Oh, Cash. Ouch.

Dean Winchester would be appalled

I'm calling him RIGHT NOW.

I actually heard "Going to California" the other night at the end of Entourage and I had an urge to get all my Zeppelin and play it.

Oh Cash, I'm so sorry, ugh what a mess. Vibing you for a quick and relatively painless solution.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Sending you support vibes to deal.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

However, I will snap your head off if you say Legend is his best album.

Catch a Fire.

Okay, I can't actually name a Led Zep song off the top of my head

Not even "Stairway to Heaven"?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oh, Cash, I'm so sorry.

In a sudden change of topic:

But I figure if I love Aerosmith and Pink Floyd, most everyone does.

You weren't forced to listen to them, ad nauseum, for your entire high school career, I suspect. (And afterwards, although the guys on my floor in college were more into CCR.)

I am clearly a bad SPN fan. But frankly I consider Black Rebel Motorcycle Club to be an even better soundtrack to the show...

not your mom's socks.

Oh Cash, I wish you phone numbers and a minimum of bureaucracy.

David, I counter your trustafarians with my friend who interviewed Bob Marley and Peter Tosh for NPR, and remains a fantastic poet, despite all the prep/training he had to do for the interview. Talkin' Blues is one of the first things DH and I argued about, with good results.

I get a warm glow from certain Dead songs. Ditto for Bon Jovi. Early Dave Matthews (very early. Like $7 Wednesday night at Trax early.) And, now, MCR.

I am obviously not allowed to drive the iPod in the house.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

High School was hair bands, rap, and classic rock. College was all about Nine Inch Nails, rap, grunge, emo, and 80s New Wave.

The last couple of months have been an obsession with all things Beastie Boys. I even did a drive by gawk of G-Son Studios in Atwater Village. To be fair, it's not really out of my way, but still. Beasties! Oh how I have been nursing a horrid crush on Adam Yauch forever.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh, Cash. I hope things are managed as stress-free as is remotely possible.

Not even "Stairway to Heaven"?

Couldn't have told you it was them, no. In fact, the GNR (right?) cover comes to mind almost as soon as the original.

GNR is my CIO's favourite band, BTW. Should there ever be a trivia competition about my IT department in your vicinity.

You weren't forced to listen to them, ad nauseum, for your entire high school career, I suspect.

No one had that much of an influence on my music listening in high school. It wasn't until I went to university that people got the ability to highjack me. Worked out well sometimes (cf Alice Cooper), but left me cold in a few others.
