Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I tend to get my Jamaican musical fun from Rock Steady and Lover's Rock and Ska. Desmond Dekker and John Holt and suchlike.

Holt is reggae. Bob Marley was a musical genius (although not our only one), and it doesn't make a difference who likes him.

However, I will snap your head off if you say Legend is his best album.

Redemption Song is my Go To on days when I need to remember the FPC.

::sigh:: That song gets me like no other, pretty much.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There are people who don't like Bob Marley?

Yep.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Is anyone else here nerdy enough to have gotten into the beta of Pottermore?

I suck at potions so badly I'm pretty sure I am going to fail out of Hogwarts.

I just commented back to the CIO on the hole in her musical appreciation.

Dodgy call.

Spellchecker, dodgy *is* a word.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why can't my "No thank you." be enough? Sometimes I sit down just because I feel like I'm about to be rude to someone who's being polite.

If your "no thank you" isn't enough, they are no longer being polite. FYI.

There are people who don't like Bob Marley?

I'm afraid so. But I'm apparently a heathen, because I'm not a fan of the Grateful Dead, either. Hubby, who was a fringe Deadhead, said it's about the whole experience.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I don't like the Grateful Dead or Phish or anything that jams for 15 hours.

Too many people in my life think Public Enemy is noise.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I don't like the Grateful Dead or Phish or anything that jams for 15 hours.

Join me in hating the office copier.
