"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My brain keeps trying to find the meaning in various Captcha phrases.

Though I guess "Well Corptog" might apply to tommyrot's shirt.

Who wants to be the "igeeking"?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm wearing this in black (yesterday it was in red) and a purple/rainbow/gauzy skirt and cowboy boots. And a chain-mail bracelet. Comme ca.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The weather's nice, so I'm celebrating by wearing a nice jacket (white with black lines and blocks of bright green) with black pants and a black t-shirt. The pants and t-shirt are pretty much the foundation of everything I wear, but the jacket's nice.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ooh, I like ita's outfit! I am wearing a pale green oxford cloth button down, brown cargo pants and these shoes: [link]

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm wearing slate gray (or grey, if you'd prefer) wide-leg trousers and a grape purple top with ruffles. However, I'm no longer wearing them at work, as we have a roofer doing various loud things, and I work on the top floor. I'm not entirely sure what the roofers are doing, but it sounds like a dentist drill, punctuated by loud crashing noises. It helped me develop a headache that ibuprofen couldn't touch, so my manager's letting me work from home for the rest of the day.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sox & Cashmere, I tend to use the top-only mouth-guards in the athletic section. They don't last as long, but they cost $1, so I don't get upset if they get lost or chewed up by an animal.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today's commute was endless, and made the baby Jesus cry.

People should tell me things that have made them smile recently as an antidote.

I'll start--mine is all the fashion detail posts, plus the polka dot dress I am wearing (a lot of the LAistas saw it at brunch last time I was there--it's my Kat dress)

Putting on my "...and then Buffy staked Edward. THE END," T-shirt this morning made me smile. Thank you for your FB link, Erin!

Oh, and this FB link made me smile. French cows listening to jazz performed live [link]

And it includes more cowbell.

Because books.

things that have made them smile recently

Finding Sara asleep on her floor with a book on her chest.

Switch stalking a couple walking by with their dog, like he was the Big Guard Cat.

I don't have enough tops with ruffles. That should be addressed.

I did remember at least one work-appropriate polka dot top, that one with the plaid also. Heh. I can so do that.
