Back from the folk fest. The theme was "Peace and reconciliation". We were listening to traditional folk music, and it became a running joke about the performers not having any songs that fit the theme, because trad folk music.
Peaches! I have some of those. I just finished a green leaf salad with egg and chicken (redundant much?) and cheese. I should have a peach.
And there will be corn on the cob for dinner.
Meanwhile I'm playing with digital photos of local color and domestic objects, and hanging out here.
OOH, I have peaches too.
I hope they are not over ripe--I should go find out.
I can speak English, more or less, but can't seem to stop scratching things until they bleed.
What Ginger said, which is one of the reasons I don't want to take the bandage the doctor put on my toe off, even though I am supposed to today, especially after I banged it this morning at TJs and I'm pretty sure there is now more ooky stuff than there was before.
I got my nails done and hit the store(s) and now I have pizza fixings and the laundry is in the wash and the kitchen floor is scrubbed. What I should do is go cut back the bougainvillea, but I'd rather sit on my ass in front of SyFy and watch cheesy steampunk children's classics.

That's it exactly.
Thankfully most of my usual haunts online are not indulging in it. My Tumblr stream is all about Halloween, gothy fashion, books, pretty boys in eyeliner, and bats.
Not that I should be online much today, as it is the final push of organizing in prep for Kittenpocalypse tomorrow.
sars just posted a little tribute to Don at tomato nation. It's subtle and good. Every year, that's the one piece of writing that sticks out for me, and I hope Don is okay.
The thing I had to sing at wasn't too bad. Now I am rewarding myself with meatballs and Doctor Who.
