I'm hiding out with you guys and not wandering much further. I can't put my finger on it. It's like grief-porn. I can't deal with it very well.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
And then there are the "THIS STATUS UPDATE ISN'T ABOUT 9/11 AND I DARE YOU TO PICK A FIGHT WITH ME" types
I admit this is why I'm hesitant to post anything on FB today, because I don't want it to be taken that way.
Which is why I'll post here: damn it, the dog has another hot spot. It's really hard to convince a critter who doesn't speak English that he needs to STOP LICKING THAT SPOT. Grrr.
I can speak English, more or less, but can't seem to stop scratching things until they bleed.
Yay Perkins! No more herceptin is definitely something to celebrate.
I'm just a fount of nod and point today.
What she said!
I went to church today and despite a lot of red, white and blue, and a rather atrocious "America the Beautiful" slide show, the sermon was amazing and the reason why I love that church.
I...um...went to the Farmer's Market and to the nail salon? Later I will go to Trader Joe's and yoga? Totally America. My nails are red! I'm wearing blue jeans! I'm like America personified! Or something.
did the chores I planned.
More people should go to FB and play Gardens of Time or Mystery Manor, just so I can have more people to play with. All about me. At some point today I should probably eat, but it hasn't seemed like a good idea.
My family is finally home and resting after an adventurous day. We went to the Red Rocks stair climb. While it was a remembrance event, it wasn't overly syrupy about it. Yes, there were a ton of firefighters in full gear and yes, we had a firefighter survivor say a few words before the climb started, but none of my buttons were pushed.
After the climb, we went to the farmers market (mmmmm, peaches). Then we rented a UHaul truck and went to KCD's to get my china cabinet. Brought that home, unloaded it, then returned the truck. A final stop at Subway and a fo-yo place and now we are all puddles. I'm trying to gather the energy to hit the grocery store, but I'm not sure if that is going to happen.
