Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift
There is nothing anyone can do now. Duncannon is closed to everyone. Even residents can't get back in to town. Lisa turned off the power and gas, got as much food out as she could, but now it's just hope and pray. She told everyone to evacuate this morning before she left to go pick up my parents at JFK airport. We'll probably be shut down for at least a week.
The tough part is going to be the clean up. Oh god, it's going to be a mess.
I can't cry. I'm still at work. Not the first week on the job.

Oh, Maria, honey, I'm so sorry. I didn't even think about the restaurant when I heard about the flooding. I wish I could help. And when you get to the clean-up part, if you *do* need help, Stephen and I could absolutely come up, and bring two boys big enough to do a lot of work. Seriously.
