Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A California roll is with cooked crab or crab-ish, right? Barbecued eel is another thought (although I don't like it).

That cold dog is awesome.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

So based on Jessica and my pregnancy experiences, girls make you want spicy foods while boys are the absolute opposite? The blander the better, with CJ.

My full out karate plan has been sidelined by cramps. I guess better now than next week. Please send chocolate.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I remember melon being pretty easy to tolerate. Mainly when I was pregnant I wanted food I couldn't smell, so it had to be really really cold.

That was EM with Emmett. She couldn't even open the fridge without gagging. Cold food for about two thirds of the pregnancy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In general, fin-fish will be raw and shellfish will be cooked. When I was pregnant I ate a LOT of California rolls (crab*, cucumber, avocado).

*Or, more likely, imitation crab which is really cured whitefish

For those having a really shitty day, I give you Cold Puppy!

That is fantastic! Smart puppy.

The way one of my co-workers put it was simply "oh yeah, boys make you sick."

Because books.

Oh man, I want Cold Puppy.

I can't remember not liking anything when I was pregnant. Or wanting anything in particular. I generally have an iron stomach, though.

Cooked veg was sometimes iffy, but that's true even now depending on the day.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I really don't know if I can do eel. Not today, anyway.

imitation crab which is really cured whitefish

Aha! Good to know.

I did notice that the sushi place has a couple of salads with grilled fish that look good. One even has avocados! So I foresee a fair number of lunches there in my future.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, I may just be crabby today, but I get annoyed when a co-worker sends me a file and the e-mail says "I NEED you to change the month on this," etc. etc.

How hard is it to SAY PLEASE???

I'm tempted to e-mail back "What's the magic word, Champ?"

The e-mail concluded with "It has to go to the printer TODAY so I need it SOON."

Well, maybe you could have given it to me sooner in the day than 3:05 pm, Champ.

t edit Teppy is NOT YOUR BITCH.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was at World Market over the weekend and they had water flavored with herbs - I got some ginger and lemon, which I bet would be good for anyone with a touchy digestion.
