Shrimp will be cooked. Around here smoked salmon is pretty common. I'm not sure what else.

I can't even think of any cooked-fish sushi. I know I've had some once or twice. Unagi (eel) is usually cooked, I think. And shrimp.
I've never really understood the pickled ginger thing. Give me more wasabi instead.
Allyson, it's completely understandable for you to break down and cry. BUT! you picked yourself up, got the car to wherever you needed to, got it fixed, and carried on. With all the nonsense and almost unending frustration you've gone through with that thing, plus the expense, plus missing work, you're entitled to a meltdown.
A California roll is with cooked crab or crab-ish, right? Barbecued eel is another thought (although I don't like it).
That cold dog is awesome.
So based on Jessica and my pregnancy experiences, girls make you want spicy foods while boys are the absolute opposite? The blander the better, with CJ.
My full out karate plan has been sidelined by cramps. I guess better now than next week. Please send chocolate.
I remember melon being pretty easy to tolerate. Mainly when I was pregnant I wanted food I couldn't smell, so it had to be really really cold.
That was EM with Emmett. She couldn't even open the fridge without gagging. Cold food for about two thirds of the pregnancy.
In general, fin-fish will be raw and shellfish will be cooked. When I was pregnant I ate a LOT of California rolls (crab*, cucumber, avocado).
*Or, more likely, imitation crab which is really cured whitefish
For those having a really shitty day, I give you Cold Puppy!
That is fantastic! Smart puppy.

The way one of my co-workers put it was simply "oh yeah, boys make you sick."
Oh man, I want Cold Puppy.
I can't remember not liking anything when I was pregnant. Or wanting anything in particular. I generally have an iron stomach, though.
Cooked veg was sometimes iffy, but that's true even now depending on the day.
