Re: Fay, given that she was posting to a group outside of the UK, I believe that she had been in England, and (separately) has a new job.
You know that point where the milk hasn't quite gone off, yet, but, when added to tea, you end up with congealed bits on the sides of the mug and on the surface? Yeah, that.
Whoa, where is everybody? We've decided on a place to rent in Cincinnati: [link] The street dead ends across unused train tracks and down a hill into the Whole Foods parking lot. That could be dangerous.
It's absolutely pouring outside. My office has so-so climate control which doesn't include a dehumidifier, so everything inside is soggy. bleah ... guess this is what I get for living in a swamp.
For makeup and skin care I tend to stick with Clinique - it was the first I came across that didn't irritate my skin (we go way back) and it seems to work. The Superdefense is a moisturizer with SPF, plus I wear the tinted moisturizer over it. One thing others might try - I use two coats of mascara - the first coat is a lash lengthening one that doesn't thicken, but then the second coat is a thickening mascara. Works for me, but YMascaraMV.

That's a great area! I almost rented an apartment one street up from Burch (I think it was Besuden). Those streets seem nice and almost secluded despite being right off Madison close to Rookwood. You're also dangerously close to Busken Bakery.

That driveway probably has room for a drill press. IJS.
flea, I'm glad you found a place; it looks very nice. Good luck with the move!
flea, that looks lovely. Yay!
Yay fleas! Good luck getting there...
Hey Jen (was it Jen?), did anyone tell you you can turn off all the "helpful" stuff your trackpad can do in the mouse (?) preferences?
That's terrific, flea!
This morning I was perfectly happy with my home. Now I want to redo all the colors so I can incorporate this chair somehow: [link]
Also, being able to drop over $700 on a chair would also be nice. The site as a whole has some nifty stuff, and I love their basic idea of taking older furniture and turning it into something new and awesome. [link]

Oh, yeah, I know that. My coworker D and I take turns buying milk for our tea, and the fridge in the kitchen is never good enough, so the milk goes off really quickly. Of course, usually this isn't a problem because D uses a quarter-cup of milk per mug of tea. Or more. We go through a lot of milk.
Flea, that looks like a nice place! I'm glad the trip was successful.
We got the Restoration Hardware book/catalog in my office, and it is killing me with want. Like, I had no idea I wanted something like this [link] but DO I EVER.
