be stranded overnight in SLC.
If I only had a spare car! At least you can enjoy the weather that has dropped back to the seasonally appropriate levels of heat.

Yep.
Sparky, I am so hopeful that Sass is back home soon.
The radio news people were saying things like, "If anyone is missing part of race car, call...."
Given you've got Nascar in town, especially funny to me.
I do hope the people bitching so loudly last night that they weren't even going to ~~try~~ and get the race in today after it was rained out last night feel suitably silly. We don't try to race cars on circles with a lot of fans when there is serious weather, people.
I really half want to clean house and do laundry and get this place back into shape and somewhat cleaner but making toast felt like it was putting out too much heat. I so should have, at least, done my laundry and run the vacuum before it got all heat wavy.
Stay safe, Ginger.
This thread goes so fast I can't even keep up with it on weekends!
But I am grateful for jumping to the end and reading that linky, smonster. Too funny and real. Had to even click her FB box and share further.

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I'll decide if I care enough to get it....
Amy, I can do color to b&w in Windows Live Photo Gallery, which came with my new computer, if you have that.
I'm sure everyone wants to see the fully finished and restocked cabinet in its usual position! [link]

Really? I think I have that. Huh.
It's got filters.
The storms are dying down now, but that was a freaky set of high winds. I have seen news video of Dixie Speedway, and it doesn't seem all that unlikely that there were pieces of cars headed towards Oz. Cass, the track itself is fine, but the wind did a number on the bleachers.
