Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Punishingly Intricate

It keeps torrential raining here for 3 minutes at a time. I'm trying to decide if I should go to the store but the rain is scaring me...well, making me lazy.

Today's big accomplishment was coordinating 3 schedules and booking a trip to Austin to surprise our old bandmate when he plays a show with his new band on his birthday next month! I'm really hoping we can all keep it a secret from him!!

I'm excited but also, man, this fall is busy! We have weddings for each of the next three months, starting this weekend in Provincetown. Plus .. a million other things.

Good think I slept a lot this weekend!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ginger, what?!!? That's crazy and scary!

Jesse, are you working in Windows? I use Irfanview to do stuff like that. It can adjust jpeg quality and file size as part of the "Save As" operation.

I am working in Windows. Is that something to buy? I don't think I care that much.

I am sweating like a pig, but have corn chowder on the stove and peach cake in the oven. Still summer!!

Stay safe, Ginger.

Alas, the national news did not call back. If they do I am going to scream b/c my DH goes to NYC tomorrow for work and I will have to do the interview without him. Local TV news picked us up again, today.

And thank you for passing on the good wishes and facebooking friends!

I also cleaned out and reorganized all of our bathroom crap yesterday! Thought we'd need to get new boxes or something from Ikea to contain everything but really just needed to throw some shit away.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Is that something to buy?

No, Irfanview is free for non-commercial use. I use it enough and like it enough that I sent the guy a donation, though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

GO Beth, with your bad walking self!

I've already promised money to a work person who is doing the walk, but I will definitely be supporting you in spirit!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dragoncon was great but now my plane has no pilot. Probably going to miss my connection and be stranded overnight in SLC.

Because books.

Can you change color photos to b&w?

be stranded overnight in SLC.

If I only had a spare car! At least you can enjoy the weather that has dropped back to the seasonally appropriate levels of heat.
