I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Oh, I hear you, believe me.

Only one of them is mine

And I even knew which one!

Love the tattoos! Awesome.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Erin's rates are up on her website: [link]

Man, one of my former trainees drunk dialed me last night, which I forgot about until I listened to his apologetic voicemail just now. He and his wife and baby are homeless right now. He's working and she's trying to collect unemployment, but it hasn't started yet. Even the shelters are overflowing, sadly but unsurprisingly.

Because books.

Oh, smonster, that must be so hard to hear. I can't even imagine.

I'm trying to decide if wearing them to the signings I have to do is cool or totally uberdork.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have nearly taught my dog Frankie the command "Relax." It goes Sit, Down, Relax (roll over on back).

That's brilliant!

Damn, this is heartbreaking.

At this point, uberdorkiness becomes cool.

The flaming angels inspired people! Excellent! I paused for lunch, and now am reinvigorated to do yet more closet-purging. What stuff have you found in your closets that you're appalled you still have?

I have two pairs of Rocket Dog shoes that are so cute it hurts me that they're just a few centimeters too short for me to wear. Anyone want black canvas slip-ons with silver skulls on them, that are just a bit smaller than their alleged size 10?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, my closet purging item that made me laugh out loud was my corporate inspirational inventory control shirt from 1994. "KOGO: Make it so." Bwahaha. My bosses were such geeks. I kept it, but I put it in a box of keeping for sentimental reasons only.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Closet culling! Right, that's one of the things I was planning on doing today. There's a Time Traveler's Rummage Sale in two weeks, and I'm vending at it. Clear out the closet and make Bags of Mystery!

Because books.

Over the last four months, my closet became the Official Dumping Ground for almost everything. It's going to take, like, two days to cull and organize, so I'm waiting till I get the revisions done. I figure at that point I can switch out summer-to-fall, too.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've found an ancient spiral notebook containing an unpublished, unfinished fanfic for The Sentinel. It was a pretty good preslash casefic. Oh, and here's another one, where Blair and Mulder are old friends. Doubt I'll ever finish writing them now.
