Someone please tell me to go do laundry, because weathering a tropical storm without clean underwear is just no fun and it will probably just get worse tomorrow. eta the storm, not my underwear. But dirty laundry doesn't get better, really.

Sara got invited to spend the weekend with friends, and much as I'll miss her, I'm thrilled. Aside from the getting up at 7 a.m. to see her off part.

Ugh. (Trigger warning, child abuse.) There's a video that's been airing on Israeli news, which has security camera footage from the Western Wall and shows a man beating his 12-year-old daughter. This is in the holiest place in Judaism, and while a whole bunch of other people walk by. It's only after a minute or so that someone stops him. I'm just horrified at people.
