OMG, that is awesome.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Do you suppose someone has pitched a series about internet fans? And the only interaction they have is on an internet message board? You'd see them individually, and the writers and actors (but never any of the actual show) and then show fans reacting to it and to each other? (i.e. if fans are discussing the physics of a show and one says, "yeah, but you're not rocket scientist" and then we see the other guy posting from a cubicle at JPL)
That reminds me of a great one-act from BOA this year, which was about people posting on a messageboard after Natasha Richardson's death. All the actors spoke whatever they were posting, never looking at each other, and also gave hilarious asides.
Kate P, I'm so happy to hear the news! Congrats!
I'm in Santa Barbara! It's very pretty! I'm eating lots of seafood!
Tom, did you get my email Monday?
Yes, I did. I've just been slack about answering it. Sorry.
No problemo - just wanted to make sure it got there. No hurry - go enjoy All of the Seafood!
Just caught up, and what a heartening ride it was, Natter today.
Missed the boat on adding to the discussion, but:
Just for the record, I am giving a lot of credit to Natter for the fact that I got dressed and left the house today.
Natter was amazing today. It made, like, everyone feel better if they needed it, or just good if they didn't need to feel better, particularly.
I asked Olivia to get me a Diet Coke from the fridge this summer and she asked, "does that make me your bitch?" Minionhood depends on the kid, I think.
Oh, my god that is priceless.
And, congratulations, KateP!

That's what I was thinking of! The writing would have to be top-notch to carry that through a series, though!
That sounds like an interesting play!
I went to dinner with my Supperclub friends (we go to fancy dinners once a month-ish, and call ourselves Superfantastic Supperclub). It was a place Plei recommended (Bastille) and it was very yum. We spent $160 before tip, the three of us. Wow.
And now I have to PACK. And figure out what to wear (a) to look sexy and (b) to not collapse in the heat. I'm not sure I can achieve both at once. Eek.
