Aims, I totally laid down that law, too! We tried on some girls Skechers with velcro. She has this year to practice on her Chuck Taylors to learn to tie her shoes.
Owen has no interest in learning to tie so he just heads straight for the velcro. I REALLY need to work on that with him. He's going into second grade.
