Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yes, I am unemployed and paying more taxes than GE.

I can't help it, this kind of thing sticks in my craw.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whoa, bizarro weather. There's been thunder all afternoon, which is unusual for here, then it suddenly started hailing, or seemed to, but when I ran out to move my plants under cover I realized what I thought was hail was accumulating like snow, and even soft. I think it's just rain, now.

Eta: no, that's definitely hail. It makes me feel better knowing there's a severe weather advisory, except for the possibility of funnel clouds part. Do not like.

Yeah, wacky weather. It's supposed to get down to 40 again tonight. Brrr.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Those bon bons won't eat themselves. Unless they were cannibal bon bons, which I hear are quite ferocious

The end result of cannibal bon bons? ONE GIANT BON BON. (But not one giant bon bon, if you know what I mean.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No one I need to talk to has been answering their phones all day.

They'd better be in tomorrow. I have to make some headway in my boss's week off.

fyi - tonight's ep of "Community" is a rerun, but it is a good one: "Conspiracy Theory"

msbelle, hope you get some constructive feedback.

So I'm sitting on the couch, watching a new Bones, glass of wine in hand. Kid one has put himself to bed (is watching spongebob for a bit) and kid two totally passed out right after finishing his dinner, sometime before 7. I guess that means I did good? Nothing too exciting today, lots of playing cars and trains, running around outside with the hose, spelling quizzing.

Tomorrow I get them both dropped off at the preschool by 7, and then off to the pool for me. I'll pick up Tyler after and we'll probably go to the park or something.

This weekend, we have the options of the zoo, Science Center, Botanical gardens, and just fooling around. Might see if I can get them into the Y for a bit of swimming (for them, nsm for me.)

Probably going to survive this without them thinking I am too boring...

And I might just get to the point driving my brother's car where it doesn't sound like I'm in a drag race...

Oh & I'm doing loads of laundry. And did dishes all day. I swear, children generate so much of both!

Yes, yes they do. Though some of it is just sheer numbers of humans. I mean, of course 4 people make more dishes than I did when I lived alone!

Kid one keeps popping back up. Given he was up late last night and this is starting to be past his bedtime... but he's not disruptively popping up. Just wandering out "Still awake!" and he wanders back with chips or carrots (the canned kind, ewww.) So I really am not inclined to bring the hammer down.
