I have LED flashlights that take AAA. Those were in good supply last night.

According to Hubs (who gets to do hurricane prep because he was in a training class that ended at 1:00 and I'm at work until 4:00), supplies are still available in the farther western parts of the DC metro area.
Knowing my neighborhood, there will probably be a guy selling them off a table right outside the subway though.
I was going to say -- there's always a guy!
I googled Pineapple Plant. WTF - it totally does look photoshopped. Who knew?
Now I'm wondering if I could open an American Girls cemetery. It could offer services appropriate to the doll's time period. There would be a variety of expensive caskets available.
Hee! I think that would be awesome. But I'm morbid like that.
So the doll hospital is like the teddy bear hospital. Got it. Someday, Clovis and I will take a trip to Hanna Bruce Bears, and Clovis will have a spa day. Yes, they offer FedEx and other shipping services, but there is NO WAY I am entrusting my Devilbunny to the mail.
Now I'm wondering if I could open an American Girls cemetery.
It could be landscaped with miniature plants. People would have to pay for perpetual care. They could have tiny teddy bears and balloons put on the graves. It could be haunted.

Maybe not so much with the "haunted," but I would be willing to bet some doll people out there might actually pay for this.
It could be haunted.
!!!
I love this idea more and more. (Also, this is making me want to find time to play with my dolls. They've been sitting in the same tableaux for months, and that is Just Not Right.)
I'm trying to look at pineapple plants with a continental American eye, and it's just not working.
I learned about pineapple plants from -- I shit you not -- the movie version of Edith Wharton's The Buccaneers. (The one with Mira Sorvino and Carla Gugino, the mini-series that was on Masterpiece Theatre way the hell back in the day.)
