Now I'm wondering if I could open an American Girls cemetery.
It could be landscaped with miniature plants. People would have to pay for perpetual care. They could have tiny teddy bears and balloons put on the graves. It could be haunted.

Maybe not so much with the "haunted," but I would be willing to bet some doll people out there might actually pay for this.
It could be haunted.
!!!
I love this idea more and more. (Also, this is making me want to find time to play with my dolls. They've been sitting in the same tableaux for months, and that is Just Not Right.)
I'm trying to look at pineapple plants with a continental American eye, and it's just not working.
I learned about pineapple plants from -- I shit you not -- the movie version of Edith Wharton's The Buccaneers. (The one with Mira Sorvino and Carla Gugino, the mini-series that was on Masterpiece Theatre way the hell back in the day.)

Which I ADORED! OMG I loved it so much. I can't imagine Wharton was really going *there* with the ending, but I didn't mind. Baby! Carla Gugino was perfect, and the rest of the cast rocked, too. Plus, total set/costume porn.
I loved that too! I lurves me some Edith Wharton, and it's on Netflix streaming. Crackadelic.
The Old Navy K-Bug works at put a bunch of stuff on clearance today, including a bunch of shirts for $0.07. Yep, you read that right. AND they are doing their friends and family sale right now which is 30% off...so those shirts were only $0.05 each. I bought 3 from that rack, plus 2 tank tops ($1.25 each), a pair of shoes ($3.50), and some socks for CJ ($7.00). Nice haul, eh?
ita, the funny thing about it is that only until today, reading this thread, did I consider where pineapples came from.
