"Oh, you need an authorization."
"On a refill?"
"Oh, you got the first prescription okay?"
"Yes."
"Let me check. It looks like there was an authorization for the one in June. But it also looks like they sent in two authorizations...let me check."
What I am not saying: What the fuck do you need to authorize with the doctor when the prescription was FROM THE DOCTOR?
I would love to be able to quit my job and turn my hobbies into a part time self-supporting career. Does the author of that article have a trust fund i could borrow?
Ugh Kat, can I call you and consult with you at some point this weekend? We just got a call from Community Magnet and now I need to make some decisions. I'd love your clear-eyed assessment.
Dana, "authorization" usually means the insurance company isn't letting them fill it.
"authorization" usually means the insurance company isn't letting them fill it.

Now they've admitted they had the authorization, and it's going to ship any day now.
Then I asked if they could upgrade the shipping, since there's been this delay.
Then she said she'd check on it.
Then I was disconnected.
That's frigging annoying, Dana.
Now the second guy is telling us that they won't upgrade the shipping because it's not their fault.
I have handed the phone to my husband, what with the being incoherent.
Sweet Jesus on a rowboat.
Well, the guy claims it's "expedited." I'm not entirely confident, but I guess we'll see.
So Irene is looking like it is going to be a bit of a problem. People are freaking out. I was in Kmart picking up some shampoo and batteries and the clerk said that Walmart was sold out of water.
The ground is thoroughly saturated and Baltimore is looking like a bullseye for most of the storm's trajectory.
And I have a hair appointment @11:30 saturday and am supposed to meet up with my old neighbors in Fells Pt Saturday night. I'm not sure if the latter is going to happen. Pretty sure the former will but it'll be an awful drive, potentially.
