The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I want to be a well-known and respected Goth Icon and fabulously wealthy eccentric. My problem is I don't have all the skills or time to turn my minor level of fame/infamy into something that makes real money.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think you're doing pretty well, though. You've already got the first part down.

Always Anti-fascist!

I think I had a nectarine today. But it could have been a peach. I'm never really sure of the difference. It was good. Allyson, even my mom, queen of Suck It Up and Deal, was very much pissed about the service you're getting in re the car. Also, the waste of junking a car for a $50 part.(if you have to.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I would do what I do for free. Or you couldn't pay me enough money in the world to do it. Depends on the day.

Thank you, dearheart. It's just that I'm aware enough to know what I *could* do, but I don't have enough time/energy/motivation/skills to get my gothy empire established. For example: I really need to start looking into the details of small-batch manufacturing for clothing.

Our wings are not tired

I'm fortunate, I actually am doing what I love, and would do most of the work I do for free, and I still think that article is full of shit.

If you can make things align, then yes, it is great. I'd rather work 100+ hour weeks in my current career, than 40 hour weeks at most other jobs, but I've also been unnaturally fortunate in being able to turn this into a career.

Oh, peaches! I need to get peaches for canning. But my farmers market also has a bulk canning tomatoes deal on now. So I need to be doing those. Actually, I really just need to hit it or I'm going to be missing the entire canning season. That's one of the things I hate about being gone for the summer.

Our wings are not tired.

The whole premise is stupid anyway, since free doesn't pay the rent. So even if you would do something for free, who the fuck cares? You still need to pay the rent/mortgage and eat.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Poking my lurky head in to add for zuisa - headbands, scarves, ribbons, clips, cute barrettes. You can change the shape of what the hair is doing, plus give the eye (others' or your own in the mirror) another focus aside from the troublesome haircut.

And of course, run, don't walk from a stylist that makes you feel bad about yourself in ANY way, let alone multiple ways. What an ass.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

What would you do for free?

Drink beer and eat food and tell people about it.

Well you must find out what it is and quit your job so you can do it. You will enjoy your work much more and will become an expert in your field.

I'm on it! Except for the part that's ludicrously bullshit.
