I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Trust my rage

Okay, I know not everyone is a cycling fan, but the USA Pro Cycilng Challenge is happening right outside my office *right now*! There is a helicopter circling overhead, team cars driving up and down the street, and some of the most talented cyclists in the world are about to zoom by.

I am so not working.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

ooh! it occurred to me - for racing (CAR racing) fans, there's a movie out called "Senna" about a Formula One driver. It sounds like it might be interesting to you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And so much for resisting buying stuff. I just got an email that my favorite store in NYC has one of my favorite dresses half-price, so now I neeeeed it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I was rewarded amply for all my decluttering this weekend by finding a forgotten pair of widelegged capris that look great on me. They must have been in the back of the closet for, like, 5 years?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Ayrton Senna. God, that whole race was a nightmare ('94 San Marino Grand Prix). Barichello broke his arm and Ratzenberger was killed, both in qualifying, and Senna's fatal accident occurred on the restart lap after an accident at the starting line.

I need to find this on DVD.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

pair of widelegged capris that look great on me

Not casting aspersions at anything but the cursed pants here but...capris? Burn them! Burn them!

I have a fashion question: What cut of coat goes best with dropped waist scooter dress?

Our wings are not tired.

Maria, it might be playing at a theatre near you. I Tweeted my happiness yesterday (about the film).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Dag! I wanted a visual reference for the kind of glasses an older person might wear (since hipsters went and stole thick black glasses), and foolishly googled: Mature Glasses.

And my search screen was fully porn besplattered!

I didn't know it was a thing.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I didn't know it was a thing.

My faith in Buffistas is shaken.
